13 MINDSETS
transform your design approach
The mindsets that I have outlined here will help both non-designers and beginner designers make informed design decisions and design a better user experience.

User is a human
Humans and computers are created and operate differently. For effective interaction between them, we must use the best parts of each. We should try to reduce the cognitive load on humans and focus their attention on essential things. It's important that the computer doesn't interfere with the person's ability to remain human and free them from calculations.
Interface is a bridge
We build bridges to connect one shore to another. Similarly, when designing interfaces, we must ensure that there is a "bridge" between the person and the information they need. We should avoid putting barriers on this bridge and prioritize the path of least resistance. Our attention should be focused on solving the user's tasks, providing exactly what they need within the scope of their task and nothing more. The content should be easily accessible, and the functions should be obvious.

Using interface is a dialogue
This dialogue should not have awkward pauses due to the system. Let the user promptly receive feedback on their requests and understand what's happening. The system should communicate, but not force communication.
Design is a team work
It is important to interact within the team because only together with your colleagues can you expand your capabilities and reach your goals better and faster. No one can build a skyscraper alone.

Do not grow a monster
Small plankton may seem insignificant, but as you probably know, it feeds whales — the largest animals on Earth.
So, every small detail is important. If you ignore it, even if it does not affect functionality, you risk growing a monster. This will create a negative impression of the product you have created, affect the credibility of the decisions you provide, and harm the image of the company in general.
Be a guide
Even if you are working on a small part of the space from the entire user journey, you need to know about whole way or at least about most of it. Where he came from, and where he will go next. The user does not have in his journey to get to go a fundamentally different space, and leaving it, should understand how he will go further.
DARK MATTER
No matter how well the analysis is done, the design process cannot proceed without assumptions. Don't hesitate to propose and test your assumptions to make informed decisions.
User background requires attention
Before you invent your own specific bicycle, you should ask yourself, if there any existing solutions on the market. You should analyze, are they suitable for solving your task. Please find out if user already had experience with them and take it into consideration.

Be a researcher
Consider keeping an open mind and don't rely solely on the first input that points you in a certain direction. It's important to have a broad outlook on the environment. The best way to understand user behavior is through empirical testing.

NOTHING STAYS THE SAME
The design lifecycle within a company is equivalent to the company's own lifecycle. As the world changes every day, it's important that we keep up with the changes. When inventing a new behavior pattern or element, it's necessary to consider how it fits into the overall picture. If you find a better solution than the default, feel free to propose it. Continuous evolution will help us remain competitive both now and in the future.
